Leash handling

Well, who walks with whom in your house? You with the dog or the other way around? You would like to finally end the struggle on the leash and be able to walk properly with your dog? Then the leash handling course is just the right thing for you and your four-legged friend!

The course is limited to 6 participants, and no animal protection-related aids such as spiked collars and the like will be tolerated. All dogs must have valid liability insurance, be vaccinated and socially acceptable.
The offer includes 4 fixed dates, of which the first is a pure theory part about Zoom. The three practice dates are held at different locations so that we can train in everyday life.

The cost for the 4-week course is 99€ (incl. 19% VAT), of which 35€ is due upon registration.

The Perfect Callback

“My dog doesn’t have to be able to do anything, he just has to come when I call him!” This is probably one of the most frequently expressed customer wishes. Unfortunately, however, it is not quite that simple. There is more to a safe recall than just a firm will. In this class, we will show you what steps are necessary to ensure a safe recall. We will work individually and in small groups to achieve this great goal. Extensive worksheets and handouts to take home will help you review the course content, because our big goal is to make you feel well taken care of all around.

In this course we will learn

  • What exactly the dog should do
  • How emotions influence the recall
  • The correct introduction of the new signal
  • Distractions and other difficulties
  • Rewards properly applied
  • Simple actions that can change behavior

And this is how we proceed:

  • The first lesson takes place online via Zoom, so we already clarify many questions and basics, as well as the first homework.
  • We break down the recall into many small steps
  • The behavior of the dogs is discussed and help is given individually
  • Extensive documentation for home, coupled with coordinated exercises on the field and in everyday life.

The offer includes 5 fixed dates, the first of which is a pure theory part about Zoom. The cost for the 5-week course is 124€ (incl. 19% VAT), of which 35€ is due upon registration.

Kids’ Class

This course is designed to show children what fun exercises they can do with the dog without actively intervening in their education. Dogs see children more as “siblings” than as tutors. Children need very specific ideas and exercises with their four-legged friend, so that they can still spend quality time together and how they can fill this time with bonding.

Contents:

  • Proper handling of the dog
  • What am I (the child) allowed to do with the dog?
  • When is it no longer a game?
  • Working out different tricks with the dog
  • Experience the effects of body language on the dog

Requirements:

  • The child is between 6 and 14 years old
  • The child wants to participate, not the parents!
  • The dog shows a friendly mood
  • The dog is easily motivated with food

Structure:

We spend about 60 minutes on two different mornings during the vacations in a fixed group of 4-6 children working out different ways of spending leisure time with the dog.

The cost for both mornings is €64 (incl. 19% VAT)

Anti Poison Bait Training

This class is about the dog reliably learning to indicate food and/or reliably being dissuaded from the food in time by his master/mistress. The course is also suitable for vacuum cleaner dogs, and in many small steps we also bring ritualized dogs back to communicate with the human, although food is there.

All exercises and practice days are built in a positive way, and no strictness or punishment is used in any way. In addition, there is help for emergencies, because until the training is really effective, it takes some time.

All dogs must have a valid liability insurance, be vaccinated and socially acceptable.
